CONCEPT

The Selva Lacandona rainforest in Mexico is rapidly disappearing. Scientists and locals are concerned, but don’t share their knowledge and knowhow.
That is why Cascoland Collective set up Keepers. This platform brings together local communities, creatives, scientists, farmers and cooks around the kitchen table to connect, exchange knowledge and implement new cross disciplinary solutions to farming. Keepers is a testing ground for ideas that promote land restoration, conservation, food production and better livelihoods in the tropical region with the ultimate aim slow down climate change. The design bridges communication gaps, unlocking humanity’s potential to solve problems together.
